Context

In August 2024, I started working with a podiatry clinic in Oslo, Norway.They had just hired an additional podiatrist and wanted to fill her calendar as quickly as possible.The clinic’s existing podiatrist also had some open appointment slots that they wanted to fill up.They had tried another marketer before but ended up paying a high price for zero results.Fortunately, they found me. This is what happened:

  • From 41 to 190+ new patients per month via Google Ads

  • Revenue (podiatry) increased from $7k to $22k

  • Approx. 23.3x Return on Ad Spend (ROAS)

  • Fully booked since Feb 2025 and now working on expansion

Step 1: Landing Page & SEO

The first thing we did was upgrade their podiatry landing page.The goal was to hit the right psychological triggers so potential patients would immediately think:“This is the clinic that can best fix my problem” — and book an appointment.At the same time, we made a few small SEO tweaks that pushed the landing page to 1st and 2nd place on Google for the two most searched podiatry keywords in Oslo.That brought them more new patients without any advertising costs.

What did these changes lead to?

  • 41 to 109 new patients in the first month (+165,85%)

Step 2: Full System in Place

After a strong first month, the staff, general manager, and owner were all very impressed — but we knew there was still more potential to unlock, especially in the advertising efforts.The clinic was already running Google Ads, but they weren’t performing as well as they could and lacked structure and control.So we took over, and restructured the Google Ads for success 🚀.“Time to put the full system in place”

How We Achieved Google Ads Success

1. New Structure

We started by splitting the ad groups from one single group containing all treatments into separate groups for each treatment. In other words:

  • One group for general foot care

  • One for corns

  • One for ingrown nails

  • And so on

This gave us full control and the ability to write highly targeted ads designed to get as many people as possible to click on our ad instead of the competitors’.

2. Ads That "Hit"

Next, we created new ad copy for each treatment, updated images, callouts, extensions, and more.
Our goal was to get as many relevant people as possible to click and convert — whatever it took.

These Small Changes:

  • Increased the click-through rate (CTR) from 10% to 15% in just two weeks

  • And positioned ourselves to keep refining the entire system to go from better to best.

Step 3: Revise to Success

Since then, we’ve made dozens of changes and keyword analyses, split-tested Google ads, and reached a point where the clinic has been fully booked for over six months.And for as long as the partnership continues, we’ll make sure they stay fully booked no matter what. Because we know how.
